Maki-e, the Japanese technique of lacquer decoration dating back to the Nara period.
This is a modern interpretation titled "Friends", where back ink is applied as the lacquer to silver (fine 999), with 24k gold leaf added as an accent.
The pendant shows hand scultped Hedgehog and Mouse.
Supplied on an 18" Marine style silver chain.
