14ct Yellow Gold filled necklace with 24ct Keum-boo leaf

This 14ct Yellow Gold filled necklace sits at aprox 18 inches in length. Its is decorated with a fine silver leaf pendant which has a layer of 24ct Yellow Gold leaf applied using the Keum-boo technique. It is closed with a 14ct Yellow Gold filled round bolt.

The leaf is from a Viburnum plant in my own garden. Layers of fine silver paste have been applied, dried and fired to take a perfect, one off cast. Whilst cooling the gold leaf is applied and when cold creates a permanent fusion of the two metals.
